Nike 90’s Editorial Graphic Tee Capsule
Drawing on inspiration from the 1990’s editorial design, the following capsule collection explores the typographic approach taken by graphic designers such as, Neville Brody and David Carson for Nike. By working under the constraints of using primarily typography with minimal use of graphics and an economy of color, the essence of a generation not bound by rules shines through and continues on.

Nike Studios
The following conceptual work was created by assessing the launch of Nike Studios recently. The training, strength and running studios located throughout Austin and in Culver City can improve on its environmental design to motivate its members to aim higher. In the visualization render below, the goal was to explore the celebration of the little victories and strides we take in challenging ourselves through our grueling dedication. A female member walks past an 8 foot high 3D typographic display with accent graphics in the background. By listing her personal best at squats in her Nike app… a flip board adjusts to congratulate her on her new PB. By taking a moment to celebrate herself with a little help by Nike Studios, a shared photo opportunity may arise that will inspire others to start their personal journey and to take action.

2026 USA Soccer
With the FIFA 2026 World Cup on the horizon, the U.S. Men’s National Team steps into a new era of identity and pride. Guided by the theme One Heart, One Flag, the latest kit is more than just a uniform—it’s a tribute to the Red, White, and Blue, and to the unity they represent. In a time when division often dominates the national conversation, the flag remains a constant, an emblem stitched into the fabric of American culture. The 2026 kit channels that spirit, leaving behind the subtle tones of 2025 in favor of a bolder, more confident expression. On the world’s biggest stage, the new design makes its statement: America arrives united, unapologetic, and unmistakably proud. With both home and away jerseys complemented by sleek shorts, the kit is built not only to perform but to embody the resilience, energy, and ambition of a nation ready to be seen.

Héctor Marroquín is an award winning Graphic Designer with over 15 years of expertise in the field of visual communication. The journey began when a 10 year old boy was too busy trying to draw the perfect Nike Logo during class in fifth grade. At that time, the principles of design were too complicated for a young kid to understand—but it was those very principles in a pair of Military Blue Jordan IV’s that captivated me to the point of passion. Art and Design would play a large role in my adolescent development and while many of my peers struggled to find what they wanted to do later in life, my path was always clear. Shortly after graduating I began designing websites and album covers for friends in the music industry and that choice blossomed into a path of serving local business in Corpus Christi, Texas. After 15 years of serving my area, I am able to move forward confidently anywhere knowing I am ready for any challenge.
